St Andrews Family Church is built on the foundation of Word and Worship. We believe that the two—Word and Worship—are actually one, serving as two folded hands together in an expression of prayer communication to God.
“God’s Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105), providing daily direction, and true worship is expressed in our living example of the written Word wherever God places us. God’s Word is before we are formed. Worship is our living reflection of God’s Word. There can be no Worship without emphasis on Word. Neither should there be Word preached without it being lived out in the world. A song of worship during service is a mere expression of joy that comes from a life well-lived in experiencing Christ Jesus as Lord.
St Andrews Family Church, under the direction of Pastor Scott Silver, thrives on calling everyone to experience Word and Worship for themselves. There is nothing better than experiencing God’s presence in service and God’s Presence accompanied with God’s Word changing us for the better. The second great blessing of Word and Worship is when God uses us in our perspective places to bring God’s presence to the most unlikely of places at work and in our communities, ultimately changing the world.
We seek Word and Worship. Every time we gather, we want to contact God in a supernatural life-changing way!
