Purpose for Worship

Our purpose is to contact Jesus and to bring others into contact with Jesus.  When contact happens, everything changes for the better.

Whenever we come to services for worship, our main objective is to contact Jesus collectively and to take our revived relationship with Jesus into a world that desperately needs Jesus.  Contact with Jesus is all about growth in Him and sharing the experience with others who need life in Him and growth in Him.  The Collective Contact we seek every time we come together for worship is all about experiencing Christ afresh and naturally sharing the life of Christ with others during and after the service.

In the beginning of every service, the Bible is either brought forward or already placed in the front, and the believers are instructed to stand for the Word of God.  That procedure is followed every Sunday, because we believe the living Word is living in us and moving among us, begging to use us for God’s glory!  The way God uses us will never be contrary to God’s Word.  Every promise in God’s Bible is for us, and a relationship with Jesus is the heart and soul of all promises in the Bible.  Collective Contact with Jesus is what the Bible is all about!

In every gathering, the heart of our prayers is for Collective Contact with Jesus, and the heart of every prayer is for the manifestation of God’s power that is associated with contacting God together to become a reality in the life of the Body of Christ.  We sing to God collectively with the expectation of Collective Contact with Jesus in song.  We recite the Word and reflect on the Word for united contact with Jesus, as we meditate on biblical content, fully understanding that when we make contact with Jesus, God stirs up spiritual gifting within us, signs and wonders are performed with a sense of awe, expressing to the congregation that the Maker of Heaven and Earth is among us as our friend, serving our wants and needs, while calling us to love one another and serve one another’s wants and needs.

  • When Collective Contact is made with Jesus Christ, everyone in service feels the difference, and those who were not in service mentally or physically cannot help but notice the difference one service makes in the believers’ lives.
  • Whenever people are comfortable sitting at home away from Collective Contact, that is a clear indicator that they have not had many services where they have experienced.  Collective Contact with Jesus or experienced the awe that is associated with the presence of God.
  • Collective Contact with Jesus is more addictive than any drug on the planet!  It’s more contagious than any pandemic the earth has ever experienced.  It is more powerful than any earthly power, and has long surpassed every earthly power and length of time!
  • Collective Contact with Jesus is eternal!
  • Collective Contact with Jesus grows the person and the Church!

Every time we meet, our mission is to experience the awe of God.  An attitude of ‘God, have your way in this service,’ is at the heart and soul of our purpose for meeting.  God, if you want to heal the sick in service today, have your way!  God if you want to prophesy, have your way!  God if you want to correct those who have gotten off course, have your way!  God, if you want us to do nothing else in service but say thank you and worship you in song, have your way!

Collective Contact is all about our agenda decreasing so that God’s agenda takes over the Congregation.  God, have your way, and may that philosophy go beyond the Church’s Order of Service into an Order of Life that changes many people’s lives forever.  That’s our purpose for gathering and existing.
